Irma peacefully passed away on January 20th 2025 surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Alexis Portalatin and her four children Lilia Portalatin, Nora Wade, Gisela Portalatin, David Portalatin and his wife Sheri Portalatin.
Irma was not only highly spirited and courageous but also compassionate and temperate.
She dedicated her life to helping others.
Eventually, her deep spirituality led her to become a Reverend. Her compassion drew many emotionally wounded to her healing light.
As a Reiki Master, Irma healed many with her touch.
Irma was instrumental in her family's lives.
In addition to her husband and children, Irma's grandchildren, Heidi and husband Michael Morneau, Gustavo and wife Judy Rosa with Enzo and Elena, Gabriela Merrill and daughter Adelyn Rose, Caleb Sweet, David Portalatin II, Vanessa Portalatin and Jordan Portalatin, as well as her family in Chile will miss her deeply.
She was our true North.
