

Jacob Raymond Entenman,90, of Tampa, passed away on August 13, 2015. He was born March 24, 1925 near Swanton, Ohio to Jacob J. and Ora (Tester) Entenman. Ray, a US Army Air Force veteran, completed navigator training during WWII. He was employed in personnel administration at Whirlpool Corporation for over 10 years. He left to obtain his B.D. and M. Divinity degrees at Grace Theological Seminary. After graduation, he taught Psychology at Shelton College in Cape May, New Jersey, Clearwater Christian College and finally as Doctor Entenman (PhD in Psychology), he retired from Hillsborough Community College after over 30 years. Ray was an active member of the Bayshore United Methodist Church. Ray is survived by his daughter , Laura (Entenman) Johnson; a son, John Entenman; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer McClean, Ryan Johnson, Karyn (Entenman) Apple, Angie (Entenman)Purlee, and Tarah (Entenman) Bell; a niece, Robin Entenman; 4 newphews, Galen Devriendt, Rany Devriendt, Scott Entenman and Mark Entenman; 7 great-grandchildren, his ex-wife, Maria Nicotra and Anna Maro’s adopted daughter. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, 1 brother, his first wife Hope (Robinson) Entenman and his daughter Emily (Entenman) McClean. Visitation will be from 1-2pm, followed by a service from 2-3pm on Saturday September 5, 2015 at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Ave., Tampa.
