

passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 in Tampa. He is survived by his wife Bonnie, children James S. Judy Jr., Britton Judy Cisneros (Frank), Mary Reeves Judy, and grandson Frankie Cisneros, Jim’s sister Mary Judy Brown (Henry), Kimberly Brown Maynell (Carey), Hank Brown (Julie), and Emerson and Tripp Brown. Jim is also survived by his mother-in-law, Jane Hall-Witt, and brothers-in-law, David R. Hall and Cralle H. Hall, and many devoted cousins.
Jim graduated from Culver Military Academy, attended the University of Florida where he joined Sigma Alpha Epsilon, and graduated from the University of South Florida. He joined the U.S. Army reserve and served with an Intelligence Unit where he graduated number one in his class.
After work as a stock broker and travel agency owner, he spent many years in the family business, Cralle-Hall Motor Co. Jim’s side passion was the performing arts, and served on search committees at USF for several positions. He also was active in supporting USF’s dance and theatre departments. At the University of Tampa he was a past member of The Board of Fellows and the Minaret Society. Jim served as a board member and President of the Henry B. Plant Museum. He was on the board of Tampa Preparatory School, board member and President of the Salvation Army, board member and President of Tampa Historical Society, board member and President of the Tampa Firefighters Museum, board member of The Spring of Tampa Bay and board member of the Downtown Rotary Club. Jim was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, member and former board member of the University Club of Tampa, and held memberships in Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla, Tampa Yacht and Country Club, and the Merrymakers Club.
Service’s will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 906 South Orleans Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33606 on Monday December 22, 2014, 11:00A.M. A private family burial will be held following the service.
