I was always the apple of his eye! His sunshine I loved him beyond all his faults to me he had none! He gave me love and guidance and words of wisdom that I learned as I got older were wise words to hold on to like don’t blink you’ll go from 16 to 30 just like that ! I miss him more than I could ever express but I know he is with my Abuela and for that my heart is no longer heavy! His smile his sarcastic comments and most of all his hugs and kisses are missed so much!

It’s so hard to believe today has been a year and 3 years now since Abuela passed however knowing the two Of you are together now helps my heart feel at peace ! I will always be grateful for the both of you taking me in at 3 months old and raising me ~ by blood grandparents and by heart my parents ! Without you both I don’t know where I would have been I will treasure every moment every memory we ever shared ! You were My Father Tata and I will always hold you in my heart as just that ! I miss you beyond words but I am so thankful for all our memories over the years and pictures without them I don’t know what I would do ! Love and miss you !

These were some of the best years of my childhood and I will remember and cherish them always ! 
They are all together now ! 

I have so many memories of this man he played the role of my father and grandfather however my most treasured memory was the day I took him to see my grandmother the love of his life and hers as well ~ the look in her eyes the moments they shared the laughs they had on this day just months before she passed will stay with me always ! He was not my father or grandfather by blood but he took me in at 3 months and raised me till I was 20~ I took care of him when he began to go down hill in 2018 till 2020 with my husband James And my daughter Amanda we made so many memories ~ I do not need his blood or his last name for me to remember the time we spent together and the memories made I will forever remember him as “tata” our special bond through the song and name given to him “ from  You are my Sunshine ! Rest in heaven old man now you will be with Abuela an eternity ! Xoxo
