88, of Tampa, passed away on Nov. 8th after a brief illness. She was born in North Carolina and moved to St. Petersburg as a child; attended and graduated from St. Pete High in 1944, and graduated from St. Pete JC in 1946. Upon graduation she worked for 1st Methodist Church of St. Petersburg until her marriage to William E. (Bill) on July 1, 1950. Upon Bill's retirement in 1987 the couple moved back to Pebble Creek. Jane is survived by her husband William E. (Bill), daughters, Linda Cone (Rammy) and Lauri Hardeman (Gary); grandchildren: Heather Hardeman Daly (Darin), Chadwick Hardeman (Christina), Courtney Hardeman Prince (Michael), Ashley R. Cone, Jr., Carlee Cone Bowdoin (William), Julian Cone, and Chelsea Cone Suarez (Anthony); 6 great grandchildren; sister, Florence Burnite. Services will be held at Temple Terrace United Methodist Church, 5030 E. Busch Blvd., Tampa, on Saturday, Nov. 14th at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Metropolitan Ministries.
