To Wanda and family, we were deeply saddened to learn of Jerry’s recent passing. While I never had the pleasure of working with him while we were with ATF, we grew up together and attended the 2-Room elementary school in Swiss, W.Va. where our families were close friends. We visited on the telephone recently and had an enjoyable conversation about these old/good times. He was a great guy and anyone who knew him knows you you could not have a better friend than Jerry Neal. He will be greatly missed. Please accept our heartfelt condolences to you and your family.

Jerry was an agents agent. When I reported to Bluefield, WV, I first had to report to Jerry, the area supervisor, at Charleston for my marching orders and to qualify with my first pistol.
Jerry would come to Bluefield about once a month during my probation and always had words of encouragement for me.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
I visited him and Wanda when he was the RAC in Tampa and again when he was the RAC in Phoenix. He was always an inspiration.
Deb and I will keep Wanda and the family in our prayers.

Jerry was my first supervisor in Charleston, W. Va.
Jerry influenced my entire ATF career.
I tried to pattern myself after him as an agent and supervisor. He was a class act!
I consider myself lucky to have had him as a friend all these years.
May he rest in peace.
Blessings to Wanda, Jeff, Brian and all of the family.

Worked with Jerry on several u/c cases when I was ATF Miami & he was as the RAIC Tampa. He always bent over backwards to assist our office. One of the truly good guys. RIP JERRY!🙏🏻🇺🇸

Just the right boss to break in new special agents. Jerry was strict but a real gentleman who worked with each of his assigned agents --- at all of the field offices in WVA. For someone who was happy working in his home state, and wished to avoid any transfer, shrewd people in management also recognized Jerry's talents. ATF has benefitted from their observations and decision ... at every location, Jerry Neal worked. RIP, Jerry.
