81, of Tampa, FL, passed away on Tuesday, Jan 26th. She was born in Detroit, MI and moved to Port Huron MI as a child. She then moved to Tampa in 1992 to be close to her son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. She attended New Beginnings Christian Church, formerly Westshore Christian Church for 29 years. She was married to Kenneth Butzin for 34 years, who passed in 1995. Jessie enjoyed spending time at the beach and most of all cooking in the kitchen.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years Kenneth Meech; son, Jeffery (Louise) Butzin; daughter Dotti (Ron) Overton; grandchildren, Gina Butzin, Jeffery Butzin Jr and Brenden Overton; and great-grandchild, Beckham Overton.
The family will host a visitation at 10:30 and service at 11:00 on Saturday, January 30 at New Beginnings Christian Church, located at 4100 S Manhattan Ave in Tampa.
