John was born in Zeigler Illinois to John and Lennis Fitch on February 11, 1935. He went to school in Zeigler Illinois where he participated in sports. He married his sweetheart, Nadine Gossage, on January 27, 1957 in Zeigler Illinois. He served in the Air Force, and was a warehouse worker for Florida Auto Parts for several years before becoming disabled.
John is preceded in death by both parents; brother, Richard Fitch; sister, Kay Fitch; son, Joseph Fitch; and daughter, Rebecca Fitch Broughton.
John is survived by wife Nadine Fitch; son John Jr.; daughter, Kimberly; son-in-law, Charles; 3 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Oldsmar at 1:00pm with the Pastor Jim Britt officiating. A viewing will be held an hour prior.
