John A. Warhul II

WARHUL II, John A.,75, of Tampa, passed from this Earth on September 16, 2023. He was a wonderful loving husband, father and a great man. He loved spending time with his family, every Saturday or Sunday he and Trish went on day trips, going hunting, camping, and constantly outfitting his Jeep JK and tending to his wife's numerous plants. He has joined his parents, John and Lois Warhul; his uncle, Harry Warhul; and his younger brothers, Ronald Warhul and Russell Warhul. John is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Patricia (Trish/P.A./ Patty Ann) (Kyle) Warhul; and his loving care giving daughter Lisa Marie Warhul, siblings, Roger L. Warhul, Sarah Jo Warhul; Sisters in law Valerie Warhul, Mary Warhul; nieces and nephews, Lacy Lundquist (Tim), Jill Boles (Ben), Scott Warhul (Tiffany), and great nieces and nephews. He will be missed by Saffie, his loving cat and bed buddy. John was a firefighter for many decades starting out in his home town of Johnstown Pa in 1964 at Gossard Hill VFD. He was also the Fire Chief at West Hillsborough VFD. He started working at MacDill AFB in 1973 as a civilian firefighter worked his way up to becoming the Fire Chief in 1995 to 2010. He was loved and respected and he will be greatly missed. A visitation for John will take place on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 1 to 3PM at Blount and Curry West Hillsborough Oldsmar Chapel with funeral services beginning at 3PM and refreshments to follow at the funeral home.
