Jose Joaquin Regalado

Jose Joaquin Regalado, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025, at the age of 94. He was born on March 19, 1930, in Guira de Melena, Cuba.

Jose was preceded in death by his parents, Joaquin Regalado and Dolores Amat, and his wife, Aida Regalado. He is survived by his son, Eduardo J. Regalado, daughter-in-law, Barbara C. Regalado, granddaughter, Vanessa C. Regalado, grandson, Edward L. Regalado, and great-grandson, Gianni E. Scarfogliero. He also leaves behind his sister, Olga Lastra; niece, Anna Teresita Lastra; brother, Osvaldo Regalado; and sister-in-law, Gladis Regalado. Jose will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Pallbearers will include Eduardo Regalado, Edward Regalado, Ed Lugo, and Stevo Scarfogliero.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on March 20, 2025, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, with burial to follow.

The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Hospice for their support during this difficult time, as well as to the doctors and nurses at St. Joseph Hospital North who cared for him. A special thanks to Saint Timothy Catholic Church for their prayers and blessings.
