José R. Santana, 78 years young, died October 25, 2021 in Tampa, Florida. José was a brilliant man and proud American that served his country in the Army with two tours in Vietnam and later as a government servant. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, writer and inventor. Jose was a family man, dedicated to his wife, children, and loved and adored his grandchildren.
He leaves behind his wife Carmen of 47years, Jody and wife Annie, Pedro and wife Corrie, Akalee, and Joevan and wife Shakira. His brothers Carlos and Luis, and sister Aida. Ten of his treasured grandchildren: Josean, JoeAnnie, Gabi, Adriel, Razi, Beorn, Sofía, Lena, Kaykay, and Alexandra.
A service with full military honors will take place on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg, FL at 1PM.
