Joseph Mackie Paniello

Mackie was born in Tampa, Florida on February 20th, 1957, and lived most of his life in Tampa, with the exception of a few years in New Orleans! In New Orleans, Mackie began to learn the family business, New Orleans Cold Storage!

In 1980, Mackie graduated from Salem College, worked in the family business, and then decided to go to Law School to follow in his fathers foot steps. He attended Santa Clara School of Law, and went on to Earn his LLM at Golden Gate University in 1986. Mackie practiced law with his Dad for 25 years, until his retirement!

Mackie was a friend to everyone. He had a personality that would always light up the room. So, witty, humorous, and a very giving sole. His love for his family was unending!

Mackie was survived by his wife, Sherry, his daughter, Julia Paniello! His daughter Elizabeth “Lizzy” Paniello, and his son Joseph “Jay “ Paniello preceded their father in death! Stepsons Robert Hudson ( Lindsey ), and Blake Hudson ( Amanda ) Grandson Caleb Sandige, His siblings Perle Hicks, Louise Matthews, and Anne Dykeman.

Mackie you will never be forgotten and your memory will always be with us…..

The Funeral will be held at Blount And Curry the morning of November 4th at 11:00
