Joyce Marie Douglas

She was known for working over 25+ years at Harvard University as a curriculum coordinator receiving numerous certificates of achievements. She also had a Bachelor's degree. She also was known for her zucchini pie. When she retired her passion was traveling with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ecclesiastes Edward Day; her mother, Mamie Lee (Fye) Day; brothers Samuel Lee Fye and Richard Anderson Day; and sisters Carol Fye and Joan Day.

Joyce is survived by her children, Nathaniel Douglas Jr. of New Market, NH, and Michelle Marie Douglas of Riverview, FL; her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; her siblings Jean Elizabeth Fye Mims of Boston, MA, Anthony Edward Day of Boston, MA, Otis Eugene Day (Roxanne) of Greensboro, NC, and Judith Louise Day of Boston, MA; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will carry her memory with them always.

Joyce was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

A celebration of Joyce's life will be held at a private location.
