Juana Jimenez

Juana María Díaz Jiménez, 98, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 1, 2025. Born on March 8, 1927, in Punta Brava, Cuba, she was the daughter of Nazario Díaz and Irene Gutierrez. Juana, a treasured wife, mother, and grandmother was preceded in death by her beloved husband, José Jiménez.

She left everything behind in her beloved home of Cuba in 1960 to begin a new life in Tampa, FL. Juana consistently cherished and lived out her faith and love for her family in everything she said and did. She is survived by her two children Elsa Jiménez Alfaro and Jesús Jiménez (Luz Marina). Grandchildren Ruben Alfaro (Shawn), Irene Jiménez Alvarez (Roger), Andy Jiménez, and Denise Jiménez Young (Sean). Great-grandchildren Ciara Alvarez Pinion (Trey), Madison Alfaro Culver (Tyler), Vanessa Alvarez, Ruben John Alfaro and Matías Young. Great-Great Grandchild, TJ Culver, along with many extended friends and family. May she be resting in the arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
