Judith Damir Angell passed away at the age of 78 on April 21, 2024, following a long battle with COPD. She is survived by her two sons, Derek J. Angell, and M. Braden Angell, and her three stepchildren, Dr. Cathy Dugar Angell, Dr. Scott Angell, and Craig Angell.
Judy is predeceased by her parents, only brother, and beloved husband of 49 years, Dr. William W. Angell. A California Native, Judy attended the University of Colorado before finishing her studies at UC Berkeley when she met Bill, a cardiovascular surgeon who was working at Standford.
The couple moved to San Diego shortly after Derek was born in 1982 and relocated to Tampa in 1991. Judy was the consummate host, and the doors of the Angell house were always open to neighbors, friends, strangers, and anyone with a taste for wine.
The great memories and happiness she brought will never be forgotten.
A service will be held at Blount & Curry Life Event Center, 605 S MacDill Ave, Tampa FL on Sunday, May, 19, from 2-4pm. All who knew Judy and her family are invited to attend.
