Karin was born on October 4, 1938, to the late Lorenz and Anna Metzler in Koblenz, Germany. At the age of 19, she moved to the United States, where she built a full and meaningful life surrounded by family, friends, and community. Karin had a long and fulfilling career as a Master Hair and Color Designer Technician and proudly retired from the JCPenney Salon. She found great joy in spending time with loved ones and especially enjoyed church music, singing, and dancing.
She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Corinna, Ursula, Erika, and Christa Miller, and by her grandson, Gianni Miller. She is also remembered fondly by her many nieces and nephews.
Karin was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel D. Miller, and her sisters, Hannelore Falls, Elisabeth Doyle, and Ursula Thonnes.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Gandy Crossing for the compassionate and wonderful care she received.
