I just learned about the passing of my dear friend Kat. I had the privilege of working alongside her at Cache, Bebe, and Chicos, where she was my manager at every location. I followed her from Cache to Chicos, and over time, she became much more than just a manager; she became a true friend. We shared wonderful memories together, from fun shopping trips to girls' nights out. She had a remarkable ability to create a sense of family in every store we worked at. I will always cherish our Christmas parties and the way she made the closing of Cache feel less like a loss and more like a new beginning. I felt like we were embarking on the next chapter of our journey together, no matter where she went in retail. Kat even attended my wedding, and that was one of the last joyful moments we shared before I stepped away from retail. My heart goes out to her family, and I send my deepest condolences to everyone affected by her loss. Kat had a special way of touching the lives of everyone she met. Rest in peace, my dear friend.🕊️🙏🏼

I just heard about Kat today, August 1st. I feel so bad that this is so late. Kat was such a beautiful person, both inside and out. I only knew her through my visits to Chico’s in Brandon but I feel like she was a good friend. I will miss her tremendously! Love you Kat!

So many amazing memories with Kat! Miss her!

Kat was one of the nicest people I’ve met and worked with. I worked with her at Fredrick’s many years ago and would run into her on occasion in Brandon. A wonderful memory I had of how much she adored my little toddler when I brought him into the store to visit. Such a grace to have known such a kind and loving woman on this planet. Much payers and condolences to all her family and friends 🙏🕊️

She was one of the best humans I’ve ever knew! I met her at Fredericks. She came to recruit me, and then it went from there to Cache, to BeBe, and it ended with Chicos! I met Taylor when he was 13 years old. He had just turned 13. It was a lifelong friendship. She was always there for me. I followed her everywhere she went because she was that great of a boss. She may not have been my blood, but she was my sister. I love and miss her everyday, my heart is completely broken

This was during Christmas time. We got all dressed up and went out to eat

She came to Elisse’s recital. She was always there for my kids. She loved them. They called her aunt Kat

Dear Kat family,

My heart goes out to you during this difficult time. Kat was truly one of a kind — one of the funniest, kindest, and most caring individuals I have ever known. She had such a wonderful way of bringing laughter and joy to those around her, and she was always willing to help anyone who needed it.

Her kindness, warmth, and beautiful spirit touched so many lives. She will be deeply missed, but the memories and happiness she shared with everyone will never be forgotten.

Sending you love, comfort, and my deepest condolences.

With sympathy,
Dena and the Chico’s Sanibel Team

My deepest condolences to Taylor and family, I pray God will keep you wrapped in His arms of peace and comfort. Sincerely Janie Chalmers

I’m going to miss you something fierce. This was our last race a half marathon and I’m so glad it was NYC.. our dream was to run the marathon there.. You were so excited to finally get to see the city. I hope I can make you proud if I ever make it there.. I will love and miss you forever.. Love your little sis!! ❤️ I hope you’re hugging Dad tight..

I will miss your smiling face and you always wearing your red lip stick. You were such a wonderful woman. You helped me with my CVG pants when I fell and ripped both the knees. You reached out to me and had me mail them to you. No questions asked. You said I k he how expensive they are. You sewed bathe the knees and looked as good as new. Wow can’t believe you are gone. I will miss you posting medal Monday’s. Don’t worry Anna is stepping up to the plate for you. Keep running with the angels and make sure you keep up the fashion up there.
