

passed away at the age of 62 on February 21, 2015. Born in Washington, DC and a resident of Brooklyn and Northport, NY, Ken moved to Tampa in 1974. He was a graduate of Princeton undergrad and Stetson Law School and was an accomplished attorney at Beytin, McLaughlin, McLaughlin, O’Hara, Bocchino & Bolin in Tampa. He loved his profession and had a passion for law, his colleagues and his clients. He was a collegiate athlete, excelling in football and baseball at Princeton, and was huge sports fan, supporting the Bucs, Rays, Lightning, Princeton Tigers, Gators, and most recently (and reluctantly) the Packers. He was a loyal friend to many in the Tampa area and beyond and was a member of the Tampa Rough Riders. Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Beytin, his brother Freddie Beytin, and his mother and father Vivian and Al Beytin. He is survived by his daughter, Michaile Stein, his son-in-law Matt Stein, his grandson Smith Stein, his fiancée, Maureen Valley, and his brothers Jeff and Gary Beytin. Ken’s memorial service will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel on Westshore and Kennedy at 2:30pm on Saturday, February 28. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to the American Heart Association or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
