Lawrence A Wlasiuk

Larry was born in Newark, NJ to Leon and Julia on August 31,1945. He went to school at Watchung. He married Marianne on September 18, 1971 in New Jersey. He worked as a Medical Administrator for the VA Hospital for 25 years. He was a veteran of Viet Nam and served in the Marines. Larry was awarded two Purple Hearts, Presidential Unit, Combat Action, Good Conduct, National Defence, Viet Nam Service and Viet Nam Combat. He was involved in Coaching at Skyway Park Little League and coaching a youth bowling league.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Julia, and his brother, Douglas.

Larry is survived by his wife of 53 years Marianne, his son Lance and wife Susan, his daughter Bridget and husband Bill, his three granddaughters Ravyn, Rebekah and husband David, and Rachel, a great grandchild Cameron, and also several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Lawrence will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Blount and Curry Funeral Home Oldsmar West Hillsborough Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Drive, Tampa, FL 33635. A funeral service will follow from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm at the Florida National Cemetery, 6502 S. W. 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.
