

Lee Britton Anderson, a highly respected funeral director, longtime member of the Rotary Club of Tampa and musician who served the South Tampa community with grace and dedication for more than three decades, died on March 30, 2025, at the age of 77.
Born in Tampa, Florida, on January 2, 1948, Lee was the son of the late Betty Ann and Leon Ridley Anderson. From 1985 until his retirement in 2016, he served the South Tampa community as the funeral director at Blount & Curry Life Event Center, formerly Blount & Curry Funeral Home at MacDill Chapel.
As an accomplished organist, Lee brought reverence and artistry to his music. He was an accomplished performer who had success in amature organ festival competitions. Winning a number of competitions brought him joy in a hobby he loved passionately. His biggest achievement being the first place winner of the Yamaha National Electone Festival Hobbyist Division.
He is survived by his devoted husband, Stanley Mark Koyama, his beloved daughter, Leslee Ann Workman, son-in-law William Lee Workman II, grandchildren Nathanial, Chloe, Elijah, Liam and great-grandchildren Elly, Kyren and Conor.
A memorial service for Lee will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11:00 am at Blount & Curry Life Event Center, 605 S MacDill Ave Tampa, FL 33609.
