Prayers for all of the family and friends.  I remember going to the BUCS games with Leon and Uncle John years ago.

Joanne and I will always remember his caring love that he always showed to his Loving Wife. Together they have been inseparable for almost 75 Years of Marriage, yet some 77/78 years of lifetime of memories.  Thank you Uncle Leon for the Love you gave you have given to your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. But also thank you for the caring Love, Respect, and Support you always gave to our family as well.  It was indeed a blessing and an honor to know you Larry & Joanne

What began as a doctor/patient relationship for me evolved over thirty years into one of friendship.  It was a privilege to have known Leon and his entire family and I will truly miss one of my heroes.

Leon Szymanski was always a fine man. A man who honored his wife of almost 75 years, Doris Szymanski, his children Sharon, Lee and Grandson Stephen. His Country honored him with The Purple Heart and Bronze Star. I know you are proud be The Family of a Man who lived his life with Honor.

I've always known Uncle Leon to be a wonderful and loving husband to his wife Aunt Doris. His calm caring approach to life's many challenges would shine like the sun, warming all those who came to know his patient loving heart. What he has taught us will make us all a little better person. I always enjoyed his company and knew how much he loved his wife Aunt Doris.
I will miss him dearly. Prayers and love to Aunt Doris,Sharon, Lee, all the family, and all his close friends

I have been fortunate to have had my "2nd Dad" in my life for all these many years.  He "stayed the course" and maintained his optimism, although handling much adversity.  His courage, unconditional love, and strength has blessed my life-and for that I will be forever grateful.
My love and prayers go out to him, my "2nd Mom", and the rest of the family-and to his many friends.  We may feel the loss of his physical presence; however, we have all gained so much having known him.  He will always hold a very special place in my heart.

It was a true honor to know this veteran. He was patient, kind and devoted to his loving wife Doris and family. I will always remember the story of his and Doris's first date.  There are some people you meet  in life that you truly will not forget and you are one of those people Leon. Rest in peace my friend. My sincere sympathy to Mrs Szymanski and his family.

RIP Mr Leon.I always called you dad because you are a dad to my very good friend,your daughter Sharon.You were always kind to me and always had a hug for me too .You are with Jesus now having the time of your life.You will be missed very much.Much love to the family .Prayers going up for comfort at this sad time.

I will never forget everything that Uncle Leon had did for me , Even when I was down and didn`t have money or food he always took care of me , He was my favorite Uncle , I always enjoy going to his house growing up , He has been to much in his life and always pulled thought but he live a wonder life with his wife Aunt  Dori by his side , May God bless his family through these times , As Heaven has gain another Angle , I will miss you and love you Uncle Leon
