Letha McBride

Letha is survived by her children, Karen Hirons (Fred), Gordon McBride (Tracy), and Glen McBride; as well as her grandchildren Katie Hardy (John), Elizabeth Bennett (Jeremy), Dillon McBride, Chase McBride, Lindsay Oliver (Blake), Ben McBride, and Melanie White (Britt) and 13 great grandchildren.

Letha will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an avid tennis player and golfer, with bragging rights to two ‘holes-in-one’ and several tournament championships. Letha also loved playing bridge, gardening and fishing with her family.

The family would like to thank her caregivers Ellen Brown and Maxine Daly, the caring staff at Inspired Living at Ivy Ridge and the nursing team at Suncoast Hospice Care Center, Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to Suncoast Hospice Pinellas County.
