Lola Anne (Sparkman Frieze, 95, of Tampa passed away peacefully at home January 16, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William Scott Frieze. She grew up in Hyde Park, attended Plant High School, University of Tampa and graduated from Florida State College for Women as a Library Science major. A member of Hyde Park Presbyterian Church, she taught Sunday School, led and chaperoned many youth programs and was a lifetime member of Presbyterian Women. She worked for the City of Tampa Libraries, Alvin Magnon Jewelers, volunteered at Hospice and delivered Meals on Wheels. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Lynda and Chip Waters, granddaughters Rebecca Bower (Jason) of Ellicott City, MD and Stacey Crum (Joshua) of Tampa, great granddaughters Emma and Eliza Bower and Carter Claire and Margot Crum. A memorial service will be held 10 am Monday, Jan. 21 at Hyde Park Presbyterian Church.
