Loretta Rose Thielges

A sharp-witted and dedicated professional, Loretta spent part of her career as a computer programmer and later worked as a reconciliation specialist at a local bank. Her sharp analytical mind and generous spirit served her well in both professions and translated seamlessly into her everyday life, where she loved tackling daily crossword puzzles and following her favorite game shows.

At home, Loretta was the indisputable, loving "boss" of the family. She expressed her care through her incredible cooking, ensuring that her loved ones were always well-fed and brought together around the family table. Her strength, humor, and commanding warmth formed the anchor of her family's daily lives. She was also an avid bowler. She enjoyed her orchids and fresh garden tomatoes and strawberries that Sy cultivated.

Loretta was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Sylvester, as well as her two brothers and two sisters.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion and is survived by her three children, Sheri, Mike, and Shelly; her four grandchildren, Charlotte, Buddy, Renisa, and Navarre; and her great-granddaughter, Verena and her beloved cat, Bratt.
