Cuevas Aviles, Luis, age 99, entered into eternal rest at home surrounded by his loving family on July 18, 2013. He was a godly loving father, grandfather and great grandfather who loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all his heart. Originally from Lares, Puerto Rico, Luis relocated to Chicago, Illinois in 1960. He was preceded in death by his wives Romona and Susana. He is survived by his five children; Joe, Willie, Gloria, Millie and Jackie; his younger sister Carmen Gonzalez, ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews. Luis was a member of the Church Of God "La Senda Antigua" with Pastors Eny and Enrique Perez. There will be a visitation at Gonzalez Funeral Home: 7209 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33614 on Monday July 22, 2013 from 6 to 9PM. Funeral services will then be held on Tuesday July 23, 2013 at 11AM at the funeral home with interment to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens 11005 U.S. 301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592.
