Montes de Oca Correa Perez, Luisa, age 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 6, 2019. She leaves behind, her son, Orlando Perez Montes de Oca; her daughter, Luisa M. Long; her nephew, Julian Luis Perez; and her six cherished grandchildren, Jacob, Zachary, Taylor, Benjamin, Morgan and Christian – all who kept her life full of joy and pride.

A mother, a Nana, a Yaya and a friend too. She was known for her kind, nurturing and loving spirit. This is the legacy we have from you, you taught us to love and how to fight for our dreams, you gave us strength, you gave us might. A stronger person would be hard to find, and in your heart, you were always kind. To all of us you gave your best. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide. So go in peace, your love in our hearts, we’ll eternally keep. We love you!

Scheduled is a visitation for a gathering of family and friends at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, September 20, 2019 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 5225 N. Himes Avenue, Tampa, FL 33614.
