Our thoughts and prayers to all of the Hyde family. Marcus was a dedicated co-worker of Florida Power/Electric Fuels and family man who always went above and beyond to help family and friends. Marcus showed a kindness to all his fellow co-workers, that no matter what the task, he always encouraged you continue to strive your hard work and success will payoff. He will be truly missed.

Marcus was one of the best...Funny, kind, smart...just a pleasure to be around. One my best memories is when Marcus and Tom worked for entire week to fix my Mother’s car...that car ran better than ever...lol...he always did his best💚. He was a great PawPaw to his grandchildren and got to see his first great grandchild before he left us. RIP Marcus...give Jeri a big hug.😘😇😇

Marcus was one of the greatest men I have ever met. He was kind to my Mom and my family in Tampa. I remember that smile, the mystery questions he used to give me to figure out, the boat rides and bbqs. The world lost a great one.

Marcus Hyde was a true friend and gentleman to my family and myself. His generosity extended well beyond "friendship" because he was a defender of causes, volunteer of assistance and voluntary "watchman" for his community. My favorite fact about Marcus is that his garage refrigerator contained the beer flavors of every friend who visit him. What a champ! Rest easy and travel fast my friend.

I will never forget the day my dad passed. You were the first to come and see me. I was devastated and just by your presence I felt better. I told you I didn’t know what I would do without him. You have since that day stepped into the role of being my dad. And I couldn’t have asked for a better Dad. Once again I’m asking what am I going to do without you. I love you .I will miss you dearly,

Sharon

I first want to pass my condolences to the Hyde family. When I was fresh out of high school I moved to Florida and lived Tom and Mary. I didn’t know anyone but Thelma and Marcus and the whole Hyde family was very welcoming and kind to me. That is something I will never forget. Marcus definitely was one of the good ones. I am so glad I got the chance to see him in Colorado almost 2yrs ago. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
