LCDR, Mark Patrick Ingwersen, 61, died January 16, 2022 in Apollo Beach, Florida. He was born in Melbourne, Florida to Jeanne and Robert Ingwersen and step-mother, Patricia Ingwersen . He married Geri Pigg in 1984 and they had twin boys, Brandon and Bryan. Mark had a brilliant Naval career which took him and his family all over the world, showing extraordinary strength and kindness, in times of peace and times of war. Retiring after 26 years of service, he began a new career with the Federal Reserve Bank where he flourished until his unexpected death. His presence will be deeply missed by his wife of 36 years, Geri; sons, Brandon and Bryan; his siblings, Robin Ingwersen, Tami (Jerry) Munden, James (Marcy) Ingwersen, and Michael Roberts; sister-in-law, Rebecca (Fred) Armand; brother-in-law, Samuel Devlin; and many, many friends. The world has lost a hero, Bulldog, and Superman.
