

GALL, Marty, 80, entered into rest January 26, 2011. Born in Sheboygan, Wis., he was a longtime resident of Tampa. After retiring from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service, he then worked at the James A. Haley VA Hospital and retired as Chief of Voluntary Services after 23 years. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Tampa and an associate member of N.F.L. Alumni Buccaneers Chapter. An avid sports fan, he was a Buccaneer season ticket holder since the team’s inception, and never missed a single home game. Marty had an exceptional voice and enjoyed singing, working in the yard and spoiling his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Pam; son, Greg and wife Amy; four daughters, Bev, Kathy and husband Todd, Pam, Lara and husband Raymond; 12 grandchildren; brother, Bob; two sisters, Betty, Margie. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 14920 Hutchinson Rd. Tampa. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
