

Robson, Dolly (Mary Sutton), 90, of Tampa, died December 9, 2015. A Tampa native, she attended Gorrie, Wilson and Plant High Schools and graduated from Florida State College for Women where she was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. Dolly served as Queen of Gasparilla XXXIV in 1947. She was a member of Hyde Park United Methodist Church, The Junior League of Tampa, The Chiselers, and The Children’s Cancer Center. She was predeceased by her husband Herbert E. Robson, her parents Belva and John Sutton, her sister Belva Toland and her brother John B. Sutton. She is survived by her children Robin Gonzalez (Thom), Rick Robson (Vicky), and Roger Robson (Joy) and her grandchildren John Gonzalez (Julie), Mary-Sutton Gonzalez, Charley Robson, Mike Robson, Edward Robson and Brannan Robson. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Lynnlee, Abbey and Hadley Gonzalez. In addition she is survived by nine nieces and nephews and her sister-in-law, Phyllis Russell. A memorial service will be held at Hyde Park United Methodist Church on Saturday, Dec. 12, at 11:00 a.m. The family has asked that flowers be omitted and suggests that contributions be made to Hyde Park United Methodist Church, 500 W. Platt St., Tampa, FL 33606; or to the charity of your choice.
