Mary Alice Zeller

Mary Alice Zeller (M.A.) Ascended into Heaven April 26, 2018. Mary Alice was born in Lewisburg West Virginia May 9th, 1926 to Harry and Bertie Jones. She was preceded in death by her two sisters Eunice Jones Jackson, Peggy Jones McClung, and her two brothers Paul Jones and Johnny Jones.

Mary Alice was married to her loving husband Homer Randal Zeller from April 1st, 1955 until his death April 3rd, 2015. Homer and Mary Alice lived in Orlando, FL for 60 years raising their two children Beth Zeller Potter and Randal Stuart Zeller. She joyfully loved watching her children in turn raise her four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mary Alice worked several jobs in Lewisburg and in Orlando, most notably she was the head accountant for Jordan Marsh Department Store at the Colonial Plaza Mall for over 10 years before becoming the Secretary Treasurer and CFO for the family owned business, Zeller Machine and Tool Engineering Corporation, for 40 years.

Mary Alice served the Methodist Church in many capacities to include Sunday School Teacher. She served as a Girl Scout Leader, and PTA President. She accomplished all of this while being a modern house wife who was the surrogate mother to dozens of neighborhood kids and three dogs; Jody, Pierre, and Wilhelmina.

Memorial Services will be held 1:00pm May 11, 2018 at Hyde Park United Methodist Church, 500 W Platt Street, Tampa FL 33606.
