He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Neal Montgomery; mother, Geraldine Young Montgomery and nephew, Jon Nickolas (Nick) Montgomery.
Michael was an Army Veteran and was employed at MacDill Air Force Base.
He is survived by his brothers, Robert (Bobby) Wayne Montgomery (Betty) and David Neal Montgomery (Teresa); sister, Diane Marie Mitchell (Lee); nieces, Lisa Wooldrige (Chris) and Casie Boling (Louis) and nephew, Cody Montgomery.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
