66, of Tampa, died Tuesday, December 24, 2014 at home in the company of his loved ones. Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, he came to the US in 1975. He graduated from Dr. Santiago Veve Calzada HS in Fajardo Puerto Rico, and received a Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting from the Interamerican University in San Juan Puerto Rico. Miguel is a Vietnam veteran and served his country for 20 yrs in the Army. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Tampa FL. He is survived by his wife of 43 yrs Lucy Ortiz; son, Michael; Chamalis and his two grandchildren Joseph and Leilani. A visitation will be held from 3pm until service time at 6:30pm at Blount & Curry MacDill Chapel on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015.
