Monserrate Guzman

Monserrate Guzmán nació el dia 10 de Septiembre de 1922 en Orocovis, Puerto Rico. Sus padres fueron: Candelario Figueroa y Buenaventura Torres, sus abuelos fueron Francisco Figueroa y Marcelina Rodriguez. Monserrate quedo huérfana desde una edad muy temprana. Tenia cuatro hermanos y una hermana; Roberto, Ramon, Felix, Luis, Gloria, ya fallecidos.

Se unio en matrimonio con Manual Guzman el 19 de enero del 1944, y embiudo despues de 32 años. De esa union nacieron 11 hijos; Evelyn, Angel Luis, Evelia (fallecio a los 12 años), Noemi, Ismael, Hector, Danial, Celia, Nestor, Nydia y Ariel. Luego llegaron los nietos, biznietos y tataranietos.

Como mujer virtuosa ha dejado un legado a sus hijos que continúen en el Señor hasta que nos volvamos aver.

Monserrate Guzman was born on September 10, 1922 in Orocovis, Puerto Rico. Her parents were Candelario Figueroa y Buenaventura Torres and her grandparents were Francisco Figueroa y Marcelina Rodriguez. Monserrate became an orphan at a very young age. She had four brothers and one sister; Roberto, Ramon, Felix, Luis, Gloria all which have passed away.

She married Manuel Guzman on January 19, 1944 and became a widow after 32 years of marriage. They had 11 children; Evelyn, Angel Luis, Evelia (fallecio a los 12 años), Noemi, Ismael, Hector, Danial, Celia, Nestor, Nydia y Ariel. Later came the grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

As a virtuous woman she has left a legacy for her children to continue in the Lord until we meet again.

A visitation will take place on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 5 to 9PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home. A final viewing will then place on Monday, September 12, 2016 from 8AM to 9AM at the funeral home. Graveside services will then be held at 10:45AM at Sunset Memory Gardens in Thonosassa, FL.
