Nancey Gordon Penner, 81, of Temple Terrace, Florida, passed away on February 1, 2026. A dedicated mother, grandmother, and friend, Nancey will be remembered for her giving nature and social awareness.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she spent her career first as a school teacher in Tampa and then, after graduating from law school, as an attorney practicing family law for underserved individuals at Bay Area Legal Services.
She is survived by her son, daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren.
A service will be held at Blount & Curry Funeral Home in Temple Terrace, Florida, with time for family and friends to gather from 1:30-2pm. A Celebration of Nancey's Life will begin at 2pm. The family invites you to join them after the service to share stories and memories during a catered reception.
