We miss you so much Nick.  We talk about you often. You were so special and we loved you dearly. 💕

Nick was one of those people who came into my life for a reason. First we worked together. Then his grandkids went to school with my daughter. 

He treated me like a daughter and Juliana like a granddaughter. Every important  day in her life Nick was on my doorstep with a little something for her. And he always had words of wisdom for me which I truly appreciated. 

Nick, your kindness and generosity will never be forgotten.   I know you are in Heaven watching over your dear family. Our Lord is proud to have you by his side. I imagine you keeping everyone quite entertained with your humor. 

I love you and will never forget you. 


Nick was the kindest man I’ve ever met. From the moment I met him 22 years ago he was a friend. I know he felt the Lord’s presence on his trip to the Holy Land and was inspired. His faith was unwavering. 

Nick and Sandra were my daughter’s “grandparents”. Nick never missed an important event.  He was always there.  He’ll never know how much that meant to her and the rest of our family. 

My heart goes out to his lovely wife Sandra and family. I’m sure knowing that he’s in Heaven watching over us brings them comfort. 

Goodbye my sweet friend. I love you. I’ll never forget you or the kindness you inspired. 

Dear Guagliardo Family,

Sandra and family,

The kids and I were incredibly saddened to hear about Nick’s passing. Both of you have been so dear to us since the day we moved into Parkland in 2015. Nick was always greeting me with a bright, beautiful smile and a handshake and well wishes each time I saw him. His positivity and kindness was something I will truly never forget and I miss him so much already. I feel truly blessed to have known him and had him as a neighbor and friend. God bless you all at this difficult time.

Words cannot express our sorrow. We’re so thankful for our time together before his trip. Little did we know then it would be our last hug. 
Nick lived his entire life with such honor and dignity.  He was in a class all his own. 
We were so blessed to know him, love and be loved by him, and that we were close family. 
We must now find strength in what he left behind.......

He is preceded in death by his parents Ignazio and Antonia Guagliardo and his brother Joseph C. Guagliardo. He loved his family, friends and his Catholic faith with all his being. Nick is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sandra; his children, Karen (Mazen) Jubrail, James (Noelle), Nick A., and David (Lauren) Guagliardo. His sister Vivian Cappello and grandchildren, Anthony, Daniel, and Thomas Guagliardo and many nieces and nephews.
