OBITUARY

Patricia Ann Kilkelly

March 27, 1936February 13, 2021

Patricia Ann (Loftus) Kilkelly, of Tampa, FL, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021.

Patricia was born in 1936 in Cambridge, MA, daughter of Patrick and Vera Loftus, sister of Sarah M. (Loftus) Hopkins and the late John M. Loftus. In order to be closer to her children in Florida, she relocated from Boston to Tampa in the late-80’s where she worked until retirement. Patricia was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church in Tampa.

Along with her sister, Patricia is also survived by her loving sons, John, Thomas and Bryan, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Daniel, Christina, Dylan, Jenna, Katherine, Patricia and Lillian. She leaves behind many members of extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Throughout her life, Patricia’s unyielding devotion has always been to her sons and her grandchildren. Unwavering, she constantly put the needs of her family above any other concerns. If a model exists for how to be an exceptional parent, surely Patricia demonstrated the finest example.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 26, 5-7pm at Blount and Curry Funeral Home, 6802 Silvermill Drive, Tampa. Funeral Mass to be held the following morning, Saturday, March 27, 10:30am at Incarnation Catholic Church, 5124 Gateway Drive, Tampa.

She lived for her family...Loved deeply , lived her faith, and most of all,her grandchildren.....She leaves the world a better place.and now has her angel wings, that she earned here on earth...to wrap around her loved ones, and give them comfort in being loved by her .She was a sister and friend, who was always there to share her love.

She was a gem that will be deeply missed. She provided us with a place ,as teenagers growing up, where we all felt comfortable and wanting to hang out. My favorite memory....she would not let me in the door until I performed her favorite cereal commercial..." mommy, Do I like these?...RIP MS. KILKELLY

There are so many memories I have from PattyAnn and Jackie and Sally! I am sure my father and Mary (Sully) welcomed her with open arms. I am so sorry for your loss. I haven't been able to see PattyAnn since Kellie's wedding. So thankful I was able to spend time with her then. And to have a couple pictures to look on!
With love, Kathleen

We are so deeply sorry for your loss. Pat was such a fun, easy going, generous (and incredibly tolerant) woman who will truly be missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
We’re thinking of you all during this difficult time and are looking forward to seeing you again soon so we can raise a glass to your Mom and celebrate her beautiful, crazy, fun life!
All our love and our deepest condolences-
Julie, Phil, Kelsey and Devon
