Patrick Joseph Beatty Jr.

Patrick Joseph Beatty Jr, 79, of Tampa, FL, passed away at home surrounded by family on September 7, 2016. Patrick was born in Carbondale, PA on July 3, 1937. He graduated from St. Francis Catholic High School of Clearfield, PA and continued on to serve in the United States Air Force for 20 years. During his time in the Air Force, Patrick was awarded The Air Medal four times, The Distinguished Flying Cross twice, and the Navy Cross while serving in Vietnam. Following his time in the Air Force, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Business. In 1981, he opened his own business, Clean Sweep Supply Company Inc. where he worked alongside family until his death. He is survived by Sally Beahan Beatty, his wonderful wife of 59 years and his five children: Patrick Beatty Jr., Cheryl Mahoney, Kathleen Paynter, David Beatty, and Beth Lemrow. Additionally, he is survived by his 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and loving dog, Shadow.

A funeral mass will be held at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church followed by an interment at Florida National Cemetery of Bushnell, FL.
