A thank you to those who remember Patrick Parsons, by his wife, Patricia Parsons.

I cannot find the words to express my heartfelt thanks and gratitude to each and every one of you for your kind thoughts, cards, flowers, phone calls and attending the Celebration of Life for my beloved husband, Patrick Parsons. I was quite overwhelmed. My heart thanks you so much.

Patrick was my best friend as well as my husband. He was kind, giving, loyal, and honest - the most trustworthy person I have ever known. He thought of others before himself, always willing to give a helping hand to someone in need. He never wavered from his principals, his faith and belief. He was a good man.

Although my heart is broken, I have a lifetime of wonderful memories. I shall cherish each day we had together. He was, and always will be, the love and joy of my life. There is a huge void in my heart that can never be filled.

When I think of Patrick, I see a sweet and kind man coming toward me with his arms opened wide and a big warm smile. He gave the greatest hugs!! Our families have grown up together and we have spent many happy times.
Rest with the angels, sweet friend. Until we all meet again.
Love,
Dinah & Joe

I have so many cherished memories of Patrick and all the members of the Parsons family. The Farinas were so fortunate to grow up having the Parsons as next door neighbors. Memories include playing kick the can, hide and seek, swimming in the Parsons’ pool, and spending time at Rocky Creek. I remember Patrick making a sandwich of mustard, mayo, and ketchup at Rocky Creek! A good time was had at Patrick’s senior prom in 1967. I will always cherish these times and have a special place in my heart for Patrick and all the Parsons.

Four of Patrick's grandchildren living in West Virginia. Triston, the oldest could not say "Poppy" as a baby so he called Patrick "Bebop". Well, the name stuck and "Bebop" is who he was and will always be to Triston, Wyatt, Lalaina and Marissa.

We love you Bebop!

My heart grieves with family to know Patrick has left us all too soon! He was a wonderful man full of integrity, and someone I deeply admired! His kind and gentle spirit will be greatly missed by us all. I'm thankful to Jesus for allowing me to know him and to be my father-in-law and my children's "Bebop". I'm even more thankful for the hope of Heaven! I know I will reunite with Patrick again one day and see his sweet smiling face. No more parting, what a glorious day that will be!
We love you Patrick!

I couldn't have had a better man to become my step father! He was such a great huband to my mother and I'm thankful for the 20 years they shared and loved together on this side of Heaven. Patrick was a man everyone should strive to be like. He was a hard worker, kind and giving and godly. It hurts me deep that he is gone from here!
Love,
Scott Smarr
