Patty Jean Hood

On the morning of Monday September 14, 2015 at 5:12 AM, Patty joined God suddenly due to an aneurysm. Patty was in the care of St. Joseph's hospital and had family at her side at the time of her passing. Patty was 57 years old. - For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. Romans 14:8 Patty was born at Northside hospital in the town of Youngstown in Mahoning County, Ohio on August 1, 1958. She was the first child of Anthony Joseph Bares and Patty Louise Keenan. Father Anthony Bares predeceases her. She is survived by Mother Patty Keenan, Sisters Dianna Vandenhaught and Jamie Jackson, brothers Anthony and Michael Bares, husband Martin Hood Sr., four children Stacy Hood-Leonard, Martin Hood Jr., Kristen Hood-Inoa, and Mark Hood and 8 grandchildren Cody Leonard, Blaike Leonard, Hannah Hood, Amber Hood, Martin Hood III, Dominik Inoa, Scarlett Inoa, and Luke Hood. The Comfort and Sweetness of Peace After the clouds, the sunshine, after the winter, the spring, after the shower, the rainbow, for life is a changeable thing. After the night, the morning, bidding all darkness cease, after life's cares and sorrows, the comfort and sweetness of peace.
