SIDLO, Paul Robert DDS 89, of Tampa, FL, passed away of natural causes Wednesday, May 5, 2021. Born March 6, 1932 in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Clarence Max Sidlo and Ruth Eva Sidlo. After serving as a Lieutenant in the USN he attended Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. In 1957 he married Peggy J. Boye and they had a loving and wonderful marriage of over 61 years. In 1960, after he completed dental school, they moved to Florida. He opened the first dental office in Lutz in 1962 and retired in 1995. After retiring he continued to serve his community with volunteer dental services for the needy in Spring Hill, FL. He was an Emeritus Fellow of the AGD and International Academy of Dentistry. Honorable member of the ADA, FDA, WCDA, HCDA and a Master Mason. He and Peggy were avid travelers and shared many escapades all over the world. He enjoyed running, water sports, hunting, gardening, snow skiing and numerous adventures with his entire family. He was a loving, kind, compassionate and faithful husband, father, GrandDoc, friend and community servant. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Peggy J. Sidlo; and his brothers, Clarence M. Sidlo and Joseph J. Sidlo. He is survived by his three daughters, Karen Warfield (Burns) of Madison, GA, Terry Sidlo and Jillyn Sidlo both of Tampa, FL; four granddaughters, Sarah Warfield Roth (Nathan) of Keizer, OR. Elizabeth, Rachel, and Hannah Warfield of Madison, GA. After cremation, a private committal service and burial will take place at The Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. The family is grateful for the condolences, love and support they have received. Donations in his name can be made to Florida United Methodist Children's Home, 51 Children's Way, Enterprise, FL 32725. A celebration of life gathering will be held at Blount and Curry F. H., 605 S MacDill Ave, Tampa, 33609, Saturday, May 15, 4-6 pm.
