Peggy Patricia Morales

December 1, 1949 – May 9, 2026

With heavy hearts and immense sadness, we announce the passing of our mother, Peggy Padgett Morales, of Tampa, on May 9, 2026, at the age of 76. Peggy was born in Defuniak Springs, Florida (Walton County).

Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose L. Morales; her loving parents, James Wilmer Padgett and Audrey Lyster Padgett; her brothers, Don Padgett, Ronnie Padgett, and Lamar Padgett; her sister, Barbara Gentry; her nephew Mark Urbaniak and her niece, Angela Pittman, whom Peggy considered more like a daughter to her.

Peggy is survived by her two children, her favorite son, James Morales, and her daughter, the baby, Audra Nalley (Christopher Nalley, favorite son in law); and her only granddaughter, Macey Nalley, all of Tampa. She is also survived by her loving sisters of Pensacola, Florida, Gloria Pittman, Ginger Lawson, and Ellon Kidd, as well as MANY ADORED nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

Peggy’s greatest joy in life was her family and her favorite dog, Sam. She will be remembered for her unconditional love, caring and generous heart, and her infectious laugh. Although Peggy is no longer with us, we find peace in knowing she is resting in Heaven, reunited with her loved ones and watching over all of us.

Peggy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered every single day. ❤️🌹
