Our lord called a great man back to his house. A man who gave his life to the teachings of what our lord Jesus Christ. He is now in peace, as he is at the house of the father. Dear Lord, hold him in the palms of Your hands,
and shelter him under Your wings.

My heart is so heavy for the tremendous loss.  As a friend of the late Fr. Peter, my heart aches.... I miss him so much, for he was a wonderful priest and a kind friend. Never witnessed him upset or angry, always smiling.
My sincere and heartfelt sympathy to his sorrowful mother, his siblings and his family in Lebanon..... we ought to be consoled with the fact that he is among the righteous and just, and now he could pray for us. To the family & parishoners of Father Peter,
Please accept our deep sympathy at the passing of this holy, humble and generous man of God!  We always appreciated Aboona's reverence and piety, as he said Mass, and we were always moved by his beautiful words during his sermons, as he taught the ways of our Catholic Church.  His insightful and touching eulogy for my sister, Ann Rached, is in our memory book, as Father expressed the thoughts and feelings shared by our family.  
We are so grateful to have been blessed to attend several of Father Peter's Liturgies, to have him share in important family celebrations, and we were honored to have him preside over Ann's funeral Mass.  He often visited her sick bed, where he consoled Ann with his loving words, and administered the Sacraments to her.  He showed his gentleness and compassion throughout this difficult time, as he was a source of strength and wisdom for all of us, not only for Ann.
I'm sure that Our Dear Lord was very pleased with Father's priesthood, and i believe that Our Lady and the Angels came to take him to his Eternal Reward!
Rest in Peace, dear Aboona!

To Aboona Peter's Family: after having met by chance a niece working at a famous fast food place on the autostrad in Beirut, I know how devastating his sudden loss is to you. He possessed the warmest smile. May the prayers of the Church that Aboona loved comfort you these days.
