

Mr. King served his country proudly in Vietnam as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp. Following his military service, he was in law enforcement beginning with the Capital Police in Washington D.C., later ending his law enforcement careers as a Pasco County Deputy. He then enjoyed a long career as an aluminum contractor until his retirement.
Mr. King is survived by his wife of 25 years, Norma; daughter Allison Hudgins (Ken); son Jeremy Harris (Sara); four precious grandchildren Brianna, Kylie, Dylan and Aidan; two sisters Janet and Susan; niece Emily Bittinger and cousin Bobbie Akers. He is also survived by several brother and sisters-in-law, nephews, many friends and his loving four-legged companion Izzy.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 10:30AM to 12Noon at Gonzalez Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 12Noon with interment to follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell,FL.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in his name to Disabled American Veterans (www.dav.org) or Metropolitan Ministries (www.metromin.org).
