Raymond Daniel Royston of Seminole, Florida passed away January 15, 2022 at the North Pinellas Suncoast Hospice Care Center. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 28, 1928. Ray moved to Tampa in 1960 where he owned and operated Royston’s Electronics for over forty years. After his retirement, he moved to Indian Rocks Beach where he enjoyed boating and fishing off of his dock. Ray loved to travel the world with his wife, Ellen, and take his family on cruises to learn about the history and culture of the islands they visited. He was a talented carpenter and put lot of time into renovating and remodeling the homes he owned. In his spare time, Ray enjoyed being outside tending to his plants, repurposing old wood and collecting rare antiques. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Club on Gandy Boulevard. He was also a member of the Moose International Fraternity and the Tampa Sertoma Club. Ray is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Ellen; his daughters Melody Royston and Amy Danusis and her husband, Chad. He will be laid to rest at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park in Tampa.
