Reno took great pride in his family. He was born in 1946 on a potato farm in Fort Kent, Maine to Oneil Daigle and Irene Daigle. He had 17 brother and sisters. He moved to Florida in 1970 and ran a successful framing contractors' business. In 1990, he went to work for the Hillsborough County Schools Maintenance division. Reno was a physically strong, hard worker with high expectations of all, and possessed a quick wit and unyielding loyalty to his friends and colleagues. He climbed the ranks and eventually oversaw all school roofs in the county and delighted in the accomplishments of the entire maintenance division. He finally retired in 2013, where he enjoyed golf, hunting, and attending baseball games.
