93, of Tampa, passed away on Tuesday, January 14th at Melech Hospice House. He was born in Detroit, MI October 14, 1926 and graduated from Michigan State University. Bob was a Veteran of World War II Air Force. After his military service, he worked as an accountant for four years with C.P.A. firms. Bob worked for 31 years at Michigan State University as the Assistant Manager of University Apartments, retiring in 1987. Bob was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church Tampa, Florida. He enjoyed working with numbers and finding new family members on Ancestry, discovering his Irish heritage. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol, daughter Barb, and son Bobby. He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Kowalske (Michael), First Cousin Mary Anne Callahan, brother-in-law, Michael Ritchie (Sheila). Adopted daughter Regina Carvalho and granddaughter Kathleen Matos. Bob also has numerous relatives, neighbors, and friends near and far, who will remember him. There will be visitation on Tuesday, January 21st from 10-11am followed by a service immediately after at 11am at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S.
