Robert was born on March 26th in Tampa, Florida to Louis and Shirley Cueto. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1979. Robert had many talents and hobbies. As a young child he was proud to be a Cub Scout. As a teenager Robert and his father restored a 55 Chevy and later restored his grandmother’s home where he continued to live. Robert will be remembered by his family as the “one that would read the instructions”. Robert was the call you made when help was needed, and he always came.
Robert began working at Louis Cueto Wholesale, with his father early in his life. Louis and Robert delivered bar and restaurant supplies together in Pinellas County for over 35 years. He would eventually take over the business and work it successfully until his final day. Robert cherished his weeknight Tea’s with his mother. He loved and lived life to the fullest. He loved the outdoors, his jet skis, bicycling and spending time with his family. To know him was to love him.
Robert celebrated life daily by doing what he loved. He was a wonderful uncle to his nieces and nephews and was always there to give counsel or talk sports and politics. He was wonderful with children and was such a positive influence, mentor, and father-figure to those he would call family throughout his life.
