

He was born to Serafrin and Ana Maria Sarduy on July 11th, 1943 in San Juan de los Yeras (Ranchuelo), Las Villas, Cuba before coming to the United St ates in 1962. He then enlisted in the Army for the Cuban volunteer program at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
Cheche is survived by his wife of 51 years Carmen, sons Marco Antonio, Rodolfo, his two beautiful granddaughters Sophia and Stella, sister, brothers, nieces, nephews and many more family members and friends.
His pride and joy were his two sons and granddaughters. He was passionate about baseball, which he played until the age of 50; he then played softball until the age of 70. He enjoyed walking, going to the beach and was a great swimmer. Cheche loved vacationing in Las Vegas, as he and his wife traveled there every year for many years.
The Sarduy family wishes to thank those who cared for him on his last days. Our dear Cheche, you will forever be in our hearts.
Cheche, you will always be in my heart and the hearts of your sons. Until we see each other again.
