So very sorry to learn of Aunt Sissy's death.  My family and and I would like to send our condolences.

You'll be so missed Sissy. I can't believe you're gone. It was such an honor to take care of you for the short period of time I did. I'm thankful I was given the opportunity. Thank you for the relationship advice and sharing the memories of your son and husband with me. Thank you for allowing me into your home to take care of you. You were an angel in disguise.

When god put me here to be in your life it was truly a blessing. The 2 years I’ve been with you were 2 of the best years of my life. We had good times and bad times but the good outweighed the bad. You were more to me than just someone I took care of, you became a mother figure  and my best friend always giving me good sound advice. When we bumped heads it was because we were so much alike. You took me into your heart like family and your are mine. I love you and I will never forget you. I know that you are at rest and in  gods hands which gives me peace.

I’m so grateful I was able to meet you. Your love and wisdom will forever be unmatched. You had one of the biggest hearts, even in your time of need you put others before you. The last 2 years you’ve taught me so much that I will cherish and hold close to my heart. You were the grandmother I never had and I will never forget you.

Sending Love and Prayers and our condolences to the Perry family!  
We were neighbors of Sissy's on Brookside Drive. Sissy was such a beautiful spirit and we loved her dearly!  She was always smiling (even when uncomfortable and in pain).  When seeing her out on her walks, assisted by her walker, I was always impressed with  seeing her with her newly painted lipstick on her lips, and hair style done just the way she liked it. She loved talking about her family and how she dearly missed her late husband and son Mark.  She made sure to share her favorite (and ours) collard greens and black eyed pea soup.  So delicious! While visiting her we would share about our common thread, our Catholic Faith, and she would reminisce about her early years and her involvement in the church and community .  As of recent visits and before leaving, I would say to her,  you know who has everything in the palm of His hands, and she would point up with her finger up to Heaven. 
We love you and will miss you!

Allen and I were so fortunate to live just up the mountain from Sissy and Bill perry. We became wonderful friends over many years. We were especially fortunate that Bill did not like leftovers! Sissy was such a fabulous cook and offered these leftovers many times. She also treated all of the mountain neighbors to a 4th of July party each year. It was a very special celebration and a time to get together and catch up with friends and neighbors. She left a legacy of love to each member of her family and to her friends. There was no one quite like Rosa!

So glad I got to spend these final days with you.. We will all miss you very much .. give granddad and mark a kiss for me ❤️
